Across three FEI World Cup Finals, OPS built a reputation FEI itself came to rely on.
In 2017 and 2023, OPS served as full Overlay Manager and prime contractor for the Omaha Equestrian Foundation, converting the CHI Center into a fully USDA-compliant venue hosting three simultaneous World Championships — a temporary international-standard stable, a redesigned tradeshow footprint, ringside dining, and a full lighting and audio upgrade. Budget near $1M, delivered under budget, with unused funds returned to the client.
When the 2020 Finals moved to Las Vegas, OPS was called in to support the design and delivery of the VIP seating overlay, in support of host organizer Las Vegas Events. That year's event was ultimately canceled due to COVID.
A recurring series, but never the same venue twice — FEI trusted OPS to start from zero, every cycle, and deliver anyway.

Jake Cone's path into event overlay began at the 2010 World Equestrian Games, and continued as a project manager at Nüssli, building venues across IndyCar, golf, beach volleyball, tennis, equestrian, and the NYC Marathon. He supported the 2015 Breeders' Cup at Keeneland and the 2016 Final Four in Houston as part of the Colonnade team.
A pattern has followed Jake throughout his career: clients don't just hire a firm — they ask for him specifically. FEI welcomed him back across three consecutive World Cup Finals in two different host cities. FIFA sought him out directly for World Cup 26, where he oversaw the planning and delivery across 5 of the tournament's 17 venues.
Founding OPS gave that pattern a permanent home. OPS built the full infrastructure program for the Pinnacle Bank Championship in Omaha (2017–2025) before handing it to the client's own staff to run, and redesigned the main competition areas for both of North America's 5-star three-day eventing events — the Kentucky Three-Day Event and the Maryland 5 Star. OPS also built a scaffolding rental and technical design company from the ground up.
Jake is also the founder of Showfl.io, a SaaS platform bringing efficiency to event timeline and budgeting.
OPS exists because the demand for Jake outgrew what one person could deliver alone.
